While there are more than a few websites out there that review affiliate marketing products & tools, we’ve found that they are mostly all over-the-top complimentary (in order to sell the product and make affiliate commissions of course). Now, we’re not going to claim we’re not trying to make money. We are, but there is no reason why we can’t do that and write brutally honest reviews. So that means you will find affiliate links in our reviews. Hey, we’re not going to stop you from buying something even if we say it sucks, and if we can make a buck from it, great!

A little about me. My name is Khalid and I hate to date myself, but I’ve been involved with the Internet and the Web for well over 15 years. With my buddy Doug, I’ve been running the gadget blog, Gizmos for Geeks, for over 4 years.

We’ve been generating income on GfG with affiliate marketing since the very beginning of that site and have branched out to other affiliate-related ventures. It is simply amazing to see how dramatically the affiliate industry has grown in that time.

Now, I’m a tech guy (systems administrator and computer consultant for most of my career), so these reviews will definitely have that slant. Although I’ve noticed that I’ve started to drift into caring more about whether a product works, I’ll still want to get under the hood and fix and/or figure it out a lot of the time.

About the name of this site – KJ is a nickname that I picked up in college that has stuck with a bunch of my friends and I thought “well, all the other domains are taken, so I’ll use that!” As for the ‘Reviews’ part, it made sense because while the site will primarily be about affiliate and other computer and Internet tools, I’ll probably throw on reviews of things that don’t fit on GfG or my personal blog.
